ABOUT THE PROGRAM

The B.Tech. program is a full-time, campus-based program. The program provides cutting edge education to equip students with comprehensive and critical understanding in various branches of engineering.

The following branches of Engineering are offered:

• Civil Engineering (Specialization in Construction Management)
• Computer Science and Engineering ( Specialization in Artificial Intelligence)
• Mechanical Engineering ( Specialization in Robotics & Automation)
• Information Technology ( Specialization in Cloud Computing)

Eligibility (B.Tech)

Pass in Class XII or its equivalent with 50% aggregate marks with Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and English as subjects, along with JEE (Main) 2020 or HPCET 2020 score. Class XII students awaiting final year examination results are also eligible to apply.

Eligibility – B.Tech (Lateral Entry)

Pass in 3-year Diploma in Engineering in respective discipline with at least 50% marks in aggregate.

Admissions

ADMISSION MODALITIES

 

The B.Tech. (regular / lateral) program is a full-time, campus-based program.The program provides cutting edge education to equip students with comprehensive and critical understanding in various branches of engineering.

Eligibility For B.Tech (CSE / ME / CE / IT)

Pass in Class XII or its equivalent with 50% aggregate marks with Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and English as subjects, along with JEE (Main) 2020 or HPCET 2020 score.

Eligibility For B.Tech (Lateral Entry) (CSE / ME / CE / IT)

Pass in 3-year Diploma in Engineering in respective discipline with minimum 50% marks in aggregate.

Admission Process:

 

The admissions are made through applications. Eligible applicants are required to apply for the program by filling the Application Form.

All the final year students who have not received the original certificates from the Universities / Board by August 01, 2020 will be admitted provisionally. Their admission will be confirmed subject to their passing the qualifying examination and meeting the minimum requirements as indicated above. The registration of the applicants not meeting the criteria by September 17, 2020 will be cancelled and only 50% of the semester fee will be refunded after notifying the cancellation of the seat by the University. Those students who apply for cancellation of their seat on or before July 31, 2020, ₹1,000 will be deducted as Administrative charges and rest of the amount (seat reservation) will be refunded.

 

Interview

 

The applicants will have to go through a personal interview at the campus. This is to determine the students’ attitude and motivation to pursue the program. Original certificates including the domicile certificate should be produced for verification at the time of interview. The original certificates will be returned after verification.

The admission decision will be communicated after the interview process. All the selected students will be required to pay an amount of ₹10,000 towards confirmation of seat which will be adjusted in the first semester program fee.

 

Special Reservation

 

There shall be a special provision for admission of students belonging to the State of Himachal Pradesh in any program of the ICFAI University, Himachal Pradesh (Baddi), which shall not be less than 25 (twenty-five) per cent of seats in each course/ discipline subject to the students meeting the minimum qualifying requirements referred to above.

1. Please make sure that you meet the eligibility criteria before filling up the Application Form.
2. Fill the Application Form in CAPITAL LETTERS.
3. Provide all available information under appropriate sections.
4. Make sure to sign the Application Form.
5. Retain a photocopy of the completed Application Form
6. Enclose a Demand Draft of ₹500 drawn in favour of “The ICFAI University, Himachal Pradesh – Fee Collection A/c” payable at Baddi, Himachal Pradesh.

 

Attested Copies of Certificates

 

Students have to enclose attested copies of the following certificates (Attestation should be done by any Gazetted Officer/Principal of the College).

• Date of Birth Certificate /Class X Certificate
• Marks sheets of Class XII / Diploma / Degree certificate (as may be applicable)
• Scorecard of JEE (Main) for B.Tech / HPCET 2020 and qualifying exam for MBA.
• Migration Certificate
• Domicile Certificate
• Character Certificate
• Any other certificates pertaining to academic and other activities.

FEE SCHEDULE

Program Fee:

 

Students should pay the program fee at the beginning of each semester, as per the due dates which will be indicated in the Student Handbook. The first semester fee is to be paid on or before August 01, 2020.

*Above Scholarship amount would be adjusted equally in 8 installments for B.Tech

B) Merit Scholarships based on Semester-wise Performance: Up to 10% of the students of the batch will be awarded merit scholarships in addition to the scholarship based on the past academic record.
