The one day virtual conference is being organized with the aim of providing faculty and students with an opportunity to understand the recent trends in microplastics research. The conference focuses on the effect of microplastics on human health and also on the aquatic organisms and coastal environment. There will be lectures given on various topics by renowned scientists from different countries.

About CNBT

Centre for Nanobiotechnology (CNBT) actively pursues research in nanosensors, nanomedicine, Micro and nanoplastics, nanoparticle-biomolecule interactions, nanotoxicology & assessment, and environmental nanotechnology. The centre has received grants from national funding sources to the tune of several crore and has more than 320 publications (h index 45). The centre has adequate infrastructure and advanced research facilities. We, at CNBT, carry out cutting edge research of global standards through our dedicated faculties and students, and apply the acquired scientific knowledge towards overall improvement of human life.
