About the Conference

 

In the present scenario, the role of Engineers/Researchers/Scientists is to enrich the societal development through green engineering for the health and wealth of human life. The objective of this conference is to enhance the knowledge in the integration of advanced materials, modem manufacturing, and machining processes to meet our requirements of Industry 4.0. The conference provides a technical forum for academicians, industrialists, and researchers for sharing knowledge, expertise, and experience.

Prof. Mustafizur Rahman, Emeritus Professor, NUS Singapore, and Or. Syed Shahabuddin, Assistant Professor, Sunway University, Malaysia, graced the conference with their field expertise as Chief Guest and Guest of honor respectively.
84 high-quality research papers were published in Scopus indexed journal after a double-blind peer review by subject experts.
MoU was signed with Sunway University, to facilitate and to promote faculty of Bannari Amman Institute of Technology (BIT) for interaction and exchange of Research activities.
One of the fruitful outcomes with this MoU, Mr. B. Kalidasan, Assistant Professor, Mechanical Engineering. BIT has undergone a 3-weeks Summer Research Fellowship program at Sunway University and Published 5 research articles in SCI and Scopus indexed journals.

 

ABOUT DEPARTMENT

 

The Department of Mechanical Engineering is one of the elite departments of BIT functioning since 1996. The Department offers an Undergraduate Programme (B.E) in Mechanical Engineering and three Postgraduate Programmes (M.E) in Engineering Design, (M.E.) in CAD/CAM, and (M.E.) in Industrial Safety Engineering and PhD programmes.
