Pre-Doctoral and Ph. D Program
Institute of Physics, Bhubaneshwar is an autonomous research institute of Department of Atomic Energy (DAE), Government of India. The research activity in the Institute centers around the areas of theoretical and experimental condensed matter Physics, nuclear Physics and high energy Physics. The Institute conducts a one-year pre-doctoral program. The successful candidates join the doctoral program leading to Ph. D degree.
The institute invites application for One-Year pre-doctoral program from GATE and CSIR – UGC Test (NET) qualified candidates, who satisfy the following criteria:
(A) M. Sc Physics with minimum 55%marks (in aggregate)
(B) GATE qualifiers with scoreabove95 percentile, or CSIR-UGC Test (NET) for Junior Research Fellowship qualifiers within last one year.
