Application in prescribed format are invited for admission into the following clinical courses for ihe session 2010-12 to be conducted at LGB Regional institute of Mental Health. Tezpur under Gauhati University.
1. M.Phil in Psychiatric Social Work-two years full time course
2. MSc. Nursing (Psychiatric Nursing) - two years full firm course, approved by the INC
Eligibility : -
For SI. No. 1. Master degree holders in Social Work (MSW) from a UGC approved University/ Institution having undergone a regular course, securing not less than 55% marks in the
aggregate
For St. No. 2. S. Sc Nursing / Post Basic B.Sc Nursing degree from any University recognized by the Nursing Council Of India with one year working experience as a registered nurse. Prescribed application format may be obtained in person or may be down loaded from Institute website "www.lgbrimh.org". Selected candidates will have to abide by the terms and conditions of the institute and affiliating university during the period of their training in the institute.
Last date of the receipt of application is 20.02.2010 by 4 pm and entrance test will be held on the 07.03 2010 from 9 am onwards at LGBRIMH, Tezpur. No separate call letter will be issued to the candidate for (he entrance examination. Candidates should bring all the original certificates/documents for verification prior to entrance test Reservation criteria as per Central Government norms will be applicable.
No TA/DA will be paid by the institute for appearing in the
entrance test
