The Company Secretary is:
• An expert in corporate laws, securities laws & capital market and corporate governance.
• Chief advisor to the board of directors on best practices in Corporate Governance.
• Responsible for all regulatory compliances of company.
• Corporate planner and strategic manager.
CS Course: Eligibility
For Foundation Programme: 10+2 Pass or its equivalent
For Executing Programme: Graduation
Students of any discipline in Arts, Commerce and Science (excluding Fine Arts) can pursue the Company Secretaries Course.
Admission is open throughout the year. Cut-off date for appearing in June 2009 Examination for Executive Programme: 31st August 2008 and Foundation Programme: 30th September, 2008.

2) For CS Executive Programme:
Cash payment: Rs.300/- or by Post/ Courier: DD/PO: Rs.350/- in favour of “The Institute of Company Secretaries of India” payable at New Delhi. Prospectus and Application Form can also be obtained at Regional Offices & Chapters.
