South Central Zone Cultural Centre - nagpur (Ministry Of Culture - Govt Of India) Award To Young Talented Artists Scheme

1. S.C.Z.C.C Nagpur invites application from Indian National artiss / groups in the field of Performing / folk art forms of Maharashtra / Madhya Pradesh / Andhra Pradesh / Karnataka / Chattisgarh States. There will be eight awards for each State.

2. Artists should be in the age group of 18-30 years ( Age proof to be attached)

3. Each award will be a medal or shield and Rs.10,000/- incash.

4. if art form is performed by a group of artists the award will be given to the group as a whole

5. The Awardees will be selected on the basis of biodata and competitive performances given by artist / groups selected by Director, SCZCC, nagpur, No.TA/DA etc will be given by the SCZCC, Nagpur to the srtist / group for this.

6. There is no prescribed format for making appliction. The applicants can send biodata in Hindi or English language on simple paper along wiht all supporting documents / cetificates. Proof of data of birth etc., duly attested by any Gazetted Officer along with two passport size photographs and photographs of his artistic performances in support of his claim for award.

7. The appliction should be forwarded to the Director, South Central Zone Cultural Centre , 56/1 Civil Lines, Opp M.L.A Hostel, Nagpur - Maharashtra latest by date 31.12.2005. The applictions receoved after this date will botbe considered for this scheme.
