Invitation to Meritorious Students Participate in the International Olympiads 2009 in Physics (Mexico), Chemistry (U.K), Biology (Japan) Astronomy and Junior Science and bring laurels to your country. ELIGIBILITY: • Olympiads in Physics and Biology: Science students of Class XI or XII (Born after December 31,1989) • Astronomy Olympiad: Junior Level: Students of Class X or lower (Born on or between 1-1-1994 to 31-12-1995). Senior Level: Students of Class XII or lower (Born on or between 1-1-1990 to 31-12-1993) • Junior Science Olympiad: Student of Class X or lower (Born on or between 1-1—1994 to 31-12-1995). The programme will follow the following 5 stages. The first stage will be organized by IAPT. All the subsequent stages will be organized by HBCSE. Stage I: National Standard Examination in Physics (NSEP) National Standard Examination in Chemistry (NSEC) National Standard Examination in Biology (NSEB) National Standard Examination in Astronomy [NSEZ (Jr.) and NSEA (Sr.)] National Standard Examination in Junior Science (NSEJS) NSEP/ NSEC / NSEB / NSEA / NSEJS Date of Examination: Sunday November 23, 2008. Last date of Enrollment: September 15,2008 About 300 toppers in each subject qualify for stage II Stage II: Indian National Olympiads in Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Astronomy (Jr. and Sr.) and Junior Science: INPhO, INBO, INAO (Jr. and Sr.), INJSO Stage III: Orientation cum Selection camps (OCSC) in each subject. The selected Indian teams at the end of OCSC will undergo pre-departure training (Stage IV) and participate in the respective International Olympiads (Stage V).
