UGC NATIONAL ELIGIBILITY TEST FOR JUNIOR RESEARCH FELLOWSHIP AND ELIGIBILITY FOR LECTURESHIP - JUNE 2012

Due to unprecedented increase in the number of candidates willing to apply during the last days of online registration for the ensuing NET examination scheduled to be held on 24th June, 2012, it has been observed that the students are facing difficulty in submitting online application. In order to overcome this problem and keeping in view the paucity of time, UGC has decided that such candidates, who have paid the prescribed fee through Bank Challan by the due date, i.e., 2nd May, 2012 and are not able to submit their application online, may now apply in offline mode. They are, therefore, advised to download the Application Form (to be filled in duplicate), Admission Card and Attendance Slip from www.ugcnetonline.in and also from www.ugc.ac.in

The last date for submitting the hard copies of duly filled in applications along with original fee receipt & attested copies of category certificate(s), has now been extended up to May 10,2012. The list of centres to be opted by the candidates is given below.

NOTE:

It may be noted that all such candidates who have already registered themselves successfully in online mode and have submitted the hard copies of the application to the chosen centre NEED NOTAPPL YA GAIN THROUGH OFFLINE MODE.

JOINT CSIR-UGC TEST FOR JUNIOR RESEARCH FELLOWSHIP & ELIGIBILITY FOR LECTURESHIP (NET), JUNE, 2012

CSIR will hold Joint CSIR-UGC Test for Junior Research Fellowship and Eligibility for Lectureship (NET) June, 2012 on Sunday the 17th June, 2012. The Application Form and Information Bulletin for this test will be available in the designated Branches of Indian Bank and Oriental Bank of Commerce from 21.02.2012 to 20.03.2012.

The candidate may apply either through Application Form available in the aforesaid Bank branches OR ONLINE at our website www.csirhrdg.res.in between 21.02.2012 to 20.03.2012. The candidate applying online will be required to deposit the requisite Examination Fee through Bank challan in any of the Indian Bank branches throughout the country. Multiple application or fee submitted in any other mode will be summarily rejected. For complete information of this test, list of designated bank branches etc., candidate may refer our notification No. 10-2(5)/2012(i)-E.U.-ll to be published in Employment News dated 18th February, 2012 - 24th February, 2012 may also be seen.

The last date for receipt of duly completed OMR application and duly completed hard copy of Online submitted application form, with the required enclosure(s) to the Sr. Controller of Examination, Examination Unit, HRDG, CSIR Complex, Library Avenue, Pusa, New Delhi-110012 is 26.03.2012 (02.04.2012 for remote areas). The final result of Joint CSIR-UGC Test for Junior Research Fellowship and Eligibility for Lectureship, National Eligibility Test (NET) held on 18th December, 2011 is likely to be declared shortly. Roll Numbers of successful candidates shall be available on CSIR HRDG website www.csirhrdg.res.in.

NOTE: IN ORDER TO AVOID LAST MINUTE RUSH, CANDIDATES ARE ADVISED TO PURCHASE THE APPLICATION FORM / APPLY ON-LINE EARLY ENOUGH.
