IIST Ph.D Programme - July 2011
Applications are invited from highly motivated candidates for admission to the Ph.D. Programme starting in July 2011, under two distinct schemes namely IIST-ISRO Fellowship (Fellowship of Rs. 35,000/- per month) and IIST Fellowship (Fellowship of Rs. 16,000/- or Rs. 18,000/- per month), in the areas of Aerospace Engineering, Avionics, Chemistry, Earth and Space Sciences,Humanities, Mathematics and Physics. Refer to the website www.iist.ac.in for details regarding qualification, current research areas, eligibility criteria, research fellowship and selection procedure.
Duly filled application form along with attested copies of documents mentioned in the application form should be sent to The Administrative Officer, IIST, Valiamaia Post, Thiruvananthapuram - 695547 with the superscription "Application for IIST Ph.D. Programme". Application form should be accompanied by a fee of Rs. 250/- (Rs. 125/- for SC / ST candidates) in the form of Demand Draft drawn in favour of The Registrar, IIST payable at Thiruvananthapuram.
Last date for receipt of applications: 06th June, 2011.
