Department of Science and Technology (DST) , Intel and the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) have come together through the platform of IRIS ( Initiative for Research & Innovation in Science ) to promote and recognise innovations among the youth and create an innovation culture in the country.

The winners of IRIS from category I -III will get an opportunity to represent India in the prestigious IEYI ( International Exhibition for Young Inventors ) and ISEF ( International Science and engineering Fair) .
