TMS Student Scholarships, Awards, and Competitions

Each year, TMS awards more than $50,000 in cash and prizes to students studying metallurgy and materials science engineering.

Student members are invited to take part in these competitions and join the long list of talented students who entered previously and won. Please select an option below to view the competition details. Additional competition opportunities can be found on the Material Advantage web site.

To participate, review the eligibility and submission guidelines and follow the instructions carefully. Entries must be received at TMS Headquarters no later than March 15 annually. Incomplete entries will be discarded. Winners will be notified shortly after August 17th.
