Applications are invited from candidates for the Three Posts of Junior Research Fellow(JRF). The candidates should have the following qualifications.

The Fellowship is offered initially for two years extendable on progress of work except Sl.No.3 which is held against Project for a period of one year or upto the endof project, whcih er is earlier.
A monthly stipend of Rs.8000/- with HRA and medical facilities is admissible as puer Rules.
The upper age limit is 28 years on the closing date for receipt of application (5 years relaxable to SC/ST and 3 years to OBC candidates.)
Type written application as per specimen given under with complete bio-data alongwith a recent passport size photograph affixed on the right top corner of the first page and Indian postal order (IPO) for Rs.10/drawn in favour of Director, Defence Food Research Laboratory, Siddarthanagar, Mysore - 570 011 ( Candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC are exempted from this payment) may be sent within 21 days from the date of publication of this advertisement. Candidates working in GOvt./Public Setor Undertaking/Autonomous Bodies should apply through proper channel. Those having qualified NET/GATE/CSIR/UGC examination will be preferred. It may be noted that offer of fellowship does not confer on any fellows any right for absorption in DRDO.
The candidates are required to produce the Caste Certificate issued by Competent Authority on the prescribed proforma in case of SC/ST/OBC and other certificate in support of age, qualification,experience and No Objection Cetificate etc., should be brought IN ORIGINAL at the time of interview.
Incomplete or application on the format other than the prescribed will be liable for rejection.
