The entrance test for admission to 3 year General Nursing & Midwifery was held on 11.06.07 and still the seats are lying vacant. Therefore, fresh applications are invited by schools of nursing affiliated to Delhi Nursing Council to fill up vacant seats only, as applicable.

The eligibility conditions:
The minimum age for admission will be 17 years or before 31.07.07. The upper age limit is as mentioned in bulletin of information issued by each school. Relaxation in upper age limit for SC/ST as per Govt. rules.
Minimum Education:
a. 10+2 examination or any other recognized as equivalent thereto with 50% or more marks (45% for SC/ST) in aggregate of Physics, Chemistry and Biology provided the applicant has passed in each subject separately both in theory and practical. English as subject till +2 level is essential.
b. Those who have successfully completed ANM course (10+2 vocational) (revised after 2001) from the school recognized by Indian Nursing Council.
c. Admission will be made on the basis of merit of the entrance / admission test to be conducted by the school.
The application forms and bulletin of information can be obtained from the concerned school of nursing on payment of prescribed fee between 10 a.m. ? 3 p.m. from Monday to Friday and 10 a.m. ? 12 Noon on Saturdays from 02.07.07 to 20.07.07. The date of entrance test & venue shall be as announced by the concerned school.
