Defence Institute of Advanced Technology is an autonomous organization, fully funded by the Department of Defence Research & Development, Ministry of Defence established with an objective of imparting Post Graduate education in the basic and applied areas of Engineering and Science on thrust areas of Defence applications and to conduct research in the fron tierareas of Defence Technologies.

In addition to admitting serving officers of the Defence forces of the Republic of India, DRDO, Defence Public Sector Undertakings and foreign Defence Officers, a limited no. of seats in various disciplines are offered to civilian candidates with scholarship. DIAT invites applications for admission to M.Tech, PhD and PG Diploma Programs in its various branches of Science and Engineering. Details of the M.Tech, PhD and PG Diploma programs on offer are available at www.diat.ac.in orwww.diatonline.co.in. Aspiring applicants have to apply online for admission.

Last date for online submission of applications is 5 May, 2013. Hard copies to reach us by 12 May 2013
