The Banking environment is changing very rapidly all over the world. It is therefore imperative for today's banker to keep pace with the latest changes and acquire the needed knowledge and job related skills to perform effectively. Keeping this in view the Institute has revamped its examinations and introduced the revised syllabus, which is more focused,sharp and rigorous.

Salient Features:

* Syllabus is thoroughly revised to make it contemporary.

* Number of papers reduced to 3 only, as against 5/6 under existing syllabus of JAIIB & CAIIB respectively.

* Comprehensive study material available to examinees.

Accrediting institutions across the country to provide educational support to examinees.

* Examination - fully objective type (multiple choice) questions for JAIIB.

* For CAIIB, the July 2005 examination will be a combination of both, descriptive and objective type questions. But from December 2005, the examination will be fully objective type(multiple choice) questions.

* Examination - both on-line and off-line mode. On-line examination at 70 plus centres across the country.
