INDIAN AGRICULTURAL RESEARCH INSTITUTE - ADMISSION TO Ph.D. PROGRAMMES (2014-15)
Online applications in the prescribed forms are invited for admission to Ph.D. programmes in the various disciplines of Agricultural Sciences at IARI, New Delhi and discipline of Agricultural Engineering at CIAE, Bhopal and disciplines of Horticulture and Post Harvest Technology at IIHR, Bengaluru.
Eligibility:
Candidates must have obtained at least 60% marks OR an overall grade point average (OGPA) of 7.50 out of 10.00 OR 3.75 out of 5.00 OR 3.00 out of 4.00 OR 2.25 out of 3.00 (For SC/ST/PC candidates: 55% marks OR OGPA of 7.00 out of 10.00 OR 3.50 out of 5.00 OR 2.80 out of 4.00 OR 2.10 out of 3.00) in Masters Degree Programme.
The percentage of marks shall be considered only for candidates coming from universities that do not award grades.
The candidates who have appeared in the Master's degree examination in the year 2014 are also eligible to apply provisionally for admission. For full details, please refer to the information bulletin.
The Information Bulletin can be viewed from the Institute website http://www.iari.res.in from 10/3/2014. Eligible candidates may apply online only. The hardcopy of application (print out of online filled Application Form) duly signed by the candidate and complete in all respects along with the Demand Draft in favour of Director, IARI payable at New Delhi for Rs. 1000/-for General/OBC and Rs.500/- for SC/ST/PC Category may be submitted to the Registrar, Post Graduate School, IARI. New Delhi-110012.
Candidates are also advised to keep themselves abreast with communication from the P.G. School, IARI over their e-mail IDs.
