Applications are invited from eligible candidates for the post of JRF in a MHRD funded project entitled "Gas Hydrates : Seismic Signatures through Anisotropic Velocity Analysis and Amplitude Variations with Offsets". The position is purely temporary, tenable initially for two years and may be extended till the completion of the project. A fellowship of Rs.6000/-p.m. is admissible with annual increment of Rs.500/- p.a.
Eligibility : (i) First class or equivalent grade in M.Sc., /M.Sc., Tech or equivalent in Applied Geophysics/Geophysics/Exploration Geophysics.
(ii) First class or equivalent grade in M.Tech in Petroleum Exploration (Geophysics stream).The candidate must have passed NET/GATE/RET(BHU)/ISM JRF examination.
