Admission to POST GRADUATE DIPLOMA PROGRAMME IN AGRICULTURAL INFORMATICS - PGDAI [ONE YEAR]

The objective of offering the Post Graduate Diploma programme is to generate human resources with the right skills, knowledge, aptitude and leadership qualities for effective design and implementation of ICT enabled agricultural production and extension services. Students admitted to the programme would be imparted sound knowledge in Science, Technology and Management related to Agriculture Information Systems and their applications in relevant fields with the latest technology and tools. Post Graduate Diploma is awarded by Directorate of Technical Education. Classes commence on 30lh January 2011.

ELIGIBILITY: First class or equivalent professional Bachelors Degree in Agriculture / Fisheries / Animal Sciences / Dairy Sciences / Agricultural Engineering /Agri Business Management OR Masters Degree in Botany /Zoology/ Biotechnology. Few seats reserved for extension officers working in Government Departments. The faculty / scientists or research staff who are working in Universities or similar Research Institutions are also eligible for applying this course. Candidates who are in the finai year of the qualifying degree programme are also eligible to apply.
