Vinod Gupta School of Management is the first B-school in the IIT system offering 2-year, full-time, residential MBA programme. The MBA curriculum of VGSOM is continually upgraded to meet the needs of the stakeholders. Candidate must possess first class Bacheior's degree in any branch of Engineering or Technology or first class Master's degree in Science, Economics or Commerce with Mathematics or Statistics at Bachelor's level. to be eligible to apply to VGSOM. There is a relaxation in marks for SC/ST candidates. Candidate's score in CAT, which will be conducted by the IIMs in November 2011, wi!l be considered for admission to 2012-2014 MBA programme VGSOM follows GOI norms on the reservation of seats for SC/ST/ OBC candidates and persons with disability. IIT Kharagpur is committed to ensure that a student's financial resources do not become a constraint for pursuing MBA education at the school. Consequently, VGSOM has put in place a iiberaS financiai aid programme for needy students. In addition, bank lo ns may be availed by students at preferential rates and payment terms to meet their fees and expenses.
