Admission to Ph.D Programme for 2006

National Centre for Plant Genome Research is an Autonomous Research Institution funded by Department of Biotechnology, Ministry of Science & Technology, GOvernment of India and conducts basic and applied research in frontier areas of Plant Biology. The Centre invites applications from candidates who have completed M.Sc., in Life Science or equivalent in related disciplines with minimum 60% marks, and have cleared the CSIR-UGC NET exam / DBT JRF ( selected through BET) for JRF 9 with a valid Junior Research Fellowship as on September 1, 2006) for conducting advanced research. Reservations are as per statutory norms. The selection will be made on the basis of a written test followed by an interview. The selected candidates will be enrolled for Ph.D programme in academic affiliation with the Jawarlal Nehru University, New Delhi . NCPGR will provide shared accommodation to selected candidates.
