National Council For Promotion Of Urdu Language Admissions To Diploma Course in Urdu Language 2006-2007
Diploma Course In Urdu Language
One year Diploma Course in Urdu Language (2006-07 session) through English and Hindi medium in distance education mode is going to start from 1st April 2006. The last date of submission of application form is 28th February 2006
Structure of the Course:
* Urdu Script Learning through Hindi or English medium
* Brief Introduction of Urdu Grammar and Comprehension
* Brief Introduction of Urdu Prose and Poetry
Contact Classesses: - For leaner's help contact classesses will be conducted in the Urdu Study Centres.
Eligibility: - Learners who have knowledge of Hindi or English Language are eligibile for admission. There is no age limit
Course Fee: - Desired learners will be required to pay total course fee of Rs. 200/- (including prospectus and admission form) to the concerned centre at the time of registration. Course material will be supplied free of cost.

Direct Admission to NCPUL:
The learners who are interested in enrolling for Urdu Diploma Course from NCPUL directly, may send a DD ofRs.350/- in favour of NCPUL, New Delhi on the above mentioned address of the Council. There is no Contact class programme for direct individual learners. Such learners shall be provided additional materials i.e. Kardi Katha ( a set of 2 Audio Cassettes alongwith 4 story books) by the renowned writer and film personality GUlzar and Urdu Pronunciation Lessons ( a book accompanied by CD) to improve comprehension of typical Urdu sounds and their proper pronunciation. Council. There is no Contact programme for direct individual learners.
