Heritage Scholarship Program [HSP]

The College of Agricultural administers the Heritage Scholarship Program [HSP]. This program awards almost $100,000 in annual scholarships to its students.

The applications process involves the completion of one form: Heritage Scholarship Program Application. Scholastic record and extracurricular activities are important components of the selection criteria. Financial need generally is not a selection criterion for Heritage Scholarship Program awards. For entering freshmen, a 24 composite ACT score is required. For transfer students, a 2.75 grade point average is required. For current SIUC students, a 2.75 grade point average is the minimum requirement. The application deadline is January 31 to qualify for awards during the upcoming academic year.

Over 100 scholarships are awarded annually, totalling approximately $100,000 in financial assistance to the students of the College of Agricultural Sciences. Take a look at the different Heritage Scholarship Program Awards.

In addition, other agriculture-related scholarships not administered under the HSP program become available each year. Information regarding these scholarships is distributed via the College listserv.
